Pair correlation function of the one-dimensional Riesz gas

چکیده

A method from random-matrix theory is used to calculate the pair correlation function of a one-dimensional gas $N\gg 1$ classical particles with power law repulsive interaction potential $u(x)\propto |x|^{-s}$ (a socalled Riesz gas). An integral formula for covariance single-particle operators obtained which generalizes known results in limits $s\rightarrow -1$ (Coulomb gas) and 0$ (log-gas). As an application, we variance center mass gas, has universal large-$N$ limit that does not depend on shape confining potential.

Correlation functions of the one-dimensional attractive Bose gas.

The zero-temperature correlation functions of the one-dimensional attractive Bose gas with a delta-function interaction are calculated analytically for any value of the interaction parameter and number of particles, directly from the integrability of the model. We point out a number of interesting features, including zero recoil energy for a large number of particles, analogous to the Mössbauer...

The dynamics of the one-dimensional delta-function Bose gas

We give a method to solve the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for a system of one-dimensional bosons interacting via a repulsive delta function potential. The method uses the ideas of Bethe Ansatz but does not use the spectral theory of the associated Hamiltonian.

Pair-correlation function in two-dimensional lattice gases.

The pair-correlation function in two-dimensional lattice gases is computed by means of three discretized classical equations for the structure of liquids: the hypernetted-chain, the Percus-Yevick, and the crossover integral equations. The equations are numerically solved by an iteration procedure. Two different systems are considered: the Ising-Peierls lattice gas with nearest-neighbor interact...

Spin Correlation Effects In a One Dimensional Electron Gas

The Singwi, Sjölander, Tosi, Land (SSTL) approach is generalized to study the spin–correlation effects in a one dimensional electron gas. It is shown that the SSTL approach is capable of generating results comparable to the more widely used STLS approach. e-mail: [email protected] e-mail: [email protected]
